10:00 AM  –  12:00 PM

Join curator Christina Vida to discuss the museum’s plan to reinterpret Edward Valentine’s sculpture studio, where the artist and first Valentine Museum president created many significant Confederate artworks including the Jefferson Davis statue that was pulled down from Monument Avenue. Join us for a discussion about the history of the Lost Cause and share your feedback on how the studio can best serve teachers and students.

Limited parking is available at VCU Medical Center’s Patient and Visitor Parking Deck at Leigh and 12th Streets (529 N. 12th Street) with validation available. Visitors may also find street parking.
